Security 101: Uniform

Ambassador Protection provide a premier security service to its clients and expects all operatives to adhere to our uniform policies as well as verbal and non-verbal etiquette. Ambassador Protection provide close protection operatives, static security guards, and event security officers. From client to client, event to event, and venue to venue, each may have their own uniform and etiquette requirements.

Ambassador Protection provide a bespoke service and are able to ensure exact requirements are met. However, at Ambassador Protection, uniform fall in to two categories, formal and non-formal.

Formal Uniform

  • White or black shirt with fastened top button
  • Black tie
  • Black blazer
  • Black trousers
  • Black polished shoes (some Magnum style boots are acceptable)
  • Covert earpiece
  • SIA Licence on display (except close protection tasks)
  • Black overcoat

Non-formal Uniform

  • Black polo t-shirt
  • Black combat trousers
  • Black soft-shell jacket
  • Black boots
  • Covert earpiece
  • SIA Licence on display

All uniform must be neatly ironed and washed prior to any tasking.
